Recent artistic projects:

Regional premiere of my award-winning solo show, Yellow, at the Asheville Fringe Arts Festival.

Alex and Drew Music, musical duo featuring Drew Brannon (Lubbock, TX). Playing at venues across West Texas, we play "A bit of country, a little pop, and a whole lotta party".

9 in the Morning, which features the inaugural use of bone-conducting headphones in a theatrical setting.

Traveling Home, original album published through DistroKid.

Plays About Recovery, exploring the ups and downs of recovery. By and for people in recovery and their families. To submit work, book the project, or for panel discussions with your group send me an inquiry below.

Imagination Wave's Interdisciplinary Devising Intensive, company run by Jordan McCullough. Alex was the artistic director of the intensive and creative director of the pieces displayed at festivals following the intensive.

I employ performance-based research to create theatre and want to continue developing methods for reviving Golden Age Musicals in a contemporary context. I love playing piano, guitar, and ukulele, and I can't resist a competitive game of Scrabble!
